Vent-Axia has welcomed the Government’s Clean Air Strategy, launched on 14th January 2019, which highlights the importance of clean air in the home. The strategy sets out how the Government aims to tackle all sources of air pollution with indoor air quality (IAQ) a key part of this. As such, the document proposes a number of simple measures to reduce air pollutants in the home, including regularly ventilating dwellings.

Changes to SAP calculations set to boost the adoption of continuous centralised ventilation systems.

The amendments, due to be launched in January 2012, have been given the green light by the Department of Energy & Climate Change and will reduce the current conservative performance ratings given to this ventilation technology when it is installed by a competent person.

Vent-Axia has introduced a new range of handling units featuring heat recovery technology and an A+ energy class efficiency rating.

The eViking units are available with outputs ranging from 3.47m³/s to 16.13m³ - the company claims at 3m/s an air-handling unit with a section area of 7x6 will provide an airflow output of 12.11m³/s.
