2050 Roadmap

The Energy Council today agreed Presidency Conclusions supported by 26 Member States on the 2050 Energy Roadmap. UK Energy Minister Charles Hendry, who attended the talks, welcomed the progress made on this important document and said:

Detail of support to help SMEs come up with the low carbon ideas of the future was announced on 25 April 2012 by Edward Davey.
Just prior to hosting the first of two days of international talks on clean energy in London, the Energy and Climate Change Secretary said:

Journalist Frankie Snobel was used to writing features about green technology and Part L, but wanted to get involved even deeper in the global challenge to combat carbon. With the support of many key electrical industry sponsors, including Vent-Axia, Frankie headed to the Manu Biosphere Reserve in the Peruvian Amazon to work as a rainforest conservation volunteer. Her goal was not only to get involved with the gruelling conservation work taking place, but to also report on the effects deforestation and climate change are having on the environment.

Vent-Axia, a leader in low carbon ventilation, has launched its first online Continuing Professional Development (CPD) module. Entitled ‘Part F and Part L of the Building Regulations 2010’, the new free online module explains how the legislation affects ventilation and is accredited by the Construction CPD Certification Service.

Vent-Axia, a leader in low carbon ventilation, is to present a CPD on heat recovery ventilation this evening as part of the Chartered Institute of Plumbing and Heating Engineering’s (CIPHE) programme of professional development. Hosted by the CIPHE’s Sussex Branch at St Francis Sports & Social Club, Haywards Heath, from 7pm onwards, the technical workshop will be presented by Peter Smith, Specialist Sales & Training Manager at Vent-Axia.
