Sussex-based British fan manufacturer Vent-Axia, a leader in low-carbon ventilation, is delighted to announce that it has beat stiff competition to receive a Ruban d’Honneur in the 2013/2014 European Business Awards. Selected to represent the UK in Europe as a finalist in ‘The Infosys Business of the Year Award with a turnover of €26-150m’ category, Vent-Axia will now go on to compete with nine companies from across Europe in the third and final round of judging, with winners to be announced in May.

Sussex-based Vent-Axia is delighted to announce that during the last month its staff have fundraised almost £1,000 which has been donated to BBC Children in Need and towards aid to the Philippines disaster. During the BBC’s Children in Need week Vent-Axia held a dress down day for staff and a cake sale raising £225.21 for the charity. Meanwhile, four members of staff continued to resist cake temptation raising a further £500 for Children in Need through a sponsored slim!
