Vent-Axia, the leader in energy efficient ventilation, has partnered with Surrey-based Mantle Panel Ltd, the company behind the award-winning UK-manufactured environmentally friendly and cost effective Mantle® Building System©. The new partnership will see Mantle Panel specify Vent-Axia’s Lo Carbon™ Sentinel Kinetic mechanical ventilation with heat recovery system (MVHR) for new build properties and light commercial applications, helping to position MVHR as the ideal carbon cutting solution to energy efficient and healthy ventilation.
Lo-Carbon™ ventilation specialist Vent-Axia has been selected as preferred ventilation supplier for the ‘livinhome’ housing project, a new and innovative approach to affordable housing developed by Geraghty Taylor Architects and Guildhouse-Rosepride. Already being piloted in Croydon, Salford and Aylesbury, the livinhome initiative aims to provide environmentally friendly, functional living spaces at affordable prices.

Vent-Axia has retrofitted its state-of-the-art Sentinel Totus D-ERV (Demand Energy Recovery Ventilation) system with a low pressure hot water (LPHW) heater to provide heating and ventilation, saving energy in classrooms and admin offices as part of a major refurbishment programme at Aberdeen’s Oldmachar Academy.
Tommy Hill overcame difficult weather conditions and technical set backs today, at the penultimate round of the British Superbikes Championship at Silverstone, to retain his lead in the BSB title standings. The Worx Crescent Suzuki rider rode to eighth and fifth in the two wet races and takes an 11 point lead into the final round of championship at Oulton Park in two weeks time.
Tommy Hill made good on his pole position qualifying performance to place first and second today at round ten of the British Superbikes championship at Croft in North Yorkshire. The Worx Crescent Suzuki rider battled another GSX-R1000 – that of Relentless Suzuki by TAS's Michael Laverty – in two closely matched encounters and so now leads the BSB title standings by 16 points over Laverty.
