Vent-Axia has recently received an A rating, the highest achievable level, from Intertek in support of their BEAB (British Electrotechnical Approvals Board) Approved Mark product certification for its factory in Crawley, West Sussex.

As a leading UK manufacturer of BEAB approved ventilation fans and hand dryers, Vent-Axia is required to accommodate annual factory inspections, ensuring products are produced to approved standards. Factories are rated on a scale of A to D depending on whether any faults are found and Vent-Axia has passed this latest test with flying colours.

Housing Minister Grant Shapps today hailed the progress of Government plans to build thousands of new affordable homes over the next four years.

Ministers revealed that their original aspiration to deliver 150,000 new homes by 2015 will not only be met, but exceeded. Appetite for the Affordable Homes Programme has surpassed expectations, with 146 providers sharing almost £1.8 billion to build 80,000 homes under the programme - putting the Government on track to deliver up to 170,000 new homes by 2015, and safeguarding some 80,000 jobs in construction and related trades.
