Homes Act MouldVent-Axia, has welcomed the Homes (Fitness for Human Habitation) Act 2018, which is scheduled to come into force from 20th March 2019. The Act makes it a legal requirement that rental properties, both social housing and private, are fit for human habitation at the beginning and throughout a tenancy, including the need for effective ventilation and freedom from damp.

Vent-Axia has welcomed the Government’s Clean Air Strategy, launched on 14th January 2019, which highlights the importance of clean air in the home. The strategy sets out how the Government aims to tackle all sources of air pollution with indoor air quality (IAQ) a key part of this.
