The final whistle has blown for Vent-Axia’s Fan-tastic Footy promotion, with three lucky participants winning the top prizes in the ’ultimate draw’.
Launched on 1st February, the Fan-tastic Footy promotion gave Vent-Axia’s customers the chance to win an array of prizes, culminating in the ‘ultimate draw’ for two flat screen TVs and the first prize of £2,000 worth of holiday vouchers.
The lucky prize winners were picked out of a hat on the 12th July by Jonathan Cole, editor of Professional Electrician. The first prize of £2,000 First Choice holiday vouchers went to Mariusz Rymarczyk, a labourer at SCC Ltd. Runners up Keith Saunders, a Financial Adviser at Santander, and Bryan Smith, who works at Armstrong Ltd were both delighted to have each won a 42” Toshiba LCD TVs in the draw.
Mariusz was presented his vouchers by Vent-Axia’s Regional Sales Manager Jim Andrew and Edmundson’s sales representative Larry Cini at Edmundsons Electrical Ltd in Stockport, where SCC purchases its Vent-Axia fans. Speaking of winning, Mariusz said, “I have never won anything before, it was a complete shock. I am looking forward to spending the vouchers on a holiday of a lifetime with my family”.
Each Vent-Axia product in the Fan-tastic Footy promotion contained a card providing the customer with a unique reference number (URN) and allocating them to one of the 32 World Cup teams. The URN revealed whether or not contractors had won an instant prize including Nintendo Wiis, Blu-Ray DVD players, footballs and t-shirts. Meanwhile, the team allocation on the card gave a customer a second chance to win a prize. Customers’ cards featuring the team that won the World Cup, Spain, were entered into the ultimate Fan-tastic Footy prize draw to win one of the top three prizes – two 42” Toshiba LCD flat screen TVs or £2,000 worth of holiday vouchers.
There were over 3,500 competition entries throughout the promotion, and 136 contractors had a card containing the winning World Cup team of Spain and were entered into the ‘ultimate draw‘.
Vent-Axia would like to thank everyone who entered the competition as well as all distributors who took part.
