Vent-Axia has signed a national supply agreement with one of the UK’s leading residential and mixed use property developers, Redrow Homes. In the agreement Vent-Axia has contracted to provide Redrow Homes’ developments with the new Vent-Axia Lo-Carbon™ Centra extract fan.

The Centra dMEV system has been selected for its high efficiency. It is capable of achieving up to 80% energy savings and 62kg carbon reductions which will be significant in helping Redrow Homes ensure their developments meet carbon reduction targets under Level 3 and Level 4 of the Code for Sustainable Homes. As a discreet, near silent dMEV solution, the Centra is suitable for continuous extract in kitchens, bathrooms, en-suites and utility areas, resulting in Redrow Homes only needing one fan type for any dwelling.

“We are delighted to have teamed up with Redrow Homes” says Ronnie George, Managing Director of Vent-Axia. “Distributors should now prepare to receive requests for the Centra from contractors working for Redrow Homes. With a portfolio of over 100 developments nationwide our distributors across the country should significantly benefit from this partnership.”

The Centra extract fan incorporates the latest Low Watt DC motor technology and delivers the lowest specific fan power on SAP Appendix Q. Offering virtually silent operation, a fresh design and a reduction in the requirement for trickle ventilators, the Centra not only helps reduce DER’s in SAP, but fits discreetly in modern homes and is simple to install.

Featuring a 100mm spigot common with traditional intermittent extract fans, the Centra also simplifies the specification process.

Vent-Axia’s comprehensive ventilation range is supported by extensive technical advice, design and ventilation applications expertise. This allows consultants, contractors, specifiers and building owners to understand key legislation and help match the right ventilation equipment to project requirements while identifying possible carbon savings available through Vent-Axia’s Lo-Carbon™ initiative.
