As well as funding building works to incorporate the increased manufacturing, the company has spent over £350k in tooling for the new production lines.

Speaking ahead of the event, MP for Crawley, Henry Smith said:

“Thanks to local firms such as Vent-Axia which recently expanded its manufacturing plant facility, repatriating jobs back to our town, Crawley is an economically vibrant area and, with unemployment at just under three per cent, is relatively better placed than many other parts of the country and world.
“I’m grateful to Vent-Axia for its commitment to our town, investing in local prosperity and job creation, in spite of a challenging economic climate. As one of the key sponsors behind the Crawley Jobs Fair, I’m especially delighted by Vent-Axia’s proactive engagement with the local community and its commitment to supporting our town’s young people through training and careers advice.”
Vent-Axia employs 225 staff at its headquarters in Fleming Way, Crawley, West Sussex. The addition of 20 new production staff at its Sussex site has been a welcome boost to the local job market.
