Vent-Axia, leaders in energy efficient ventilation, is proud to celebrate its first year’s partnership with Simx Pty Limited, its distributor for the Australian market. Simx has had a very successful first year supplying Vent-Axia’s ventilation products, with the ACM range of mixed flow fans and Lo-Carbon Sentinel Kinetic Plus being particularly well received by Australian contractors.
“Vent-Axia’s products have proved popular with contractors despite tough trading conditions in Australia. Simx’s initial success looks set to continue and to grow due to recent legislation. On 1 July 2012 the Australian Carbon Tax came into effect offering potential to drive sales in energy efficient ventilation solutions in both existing and commercial new build.
“The new Australian Carbon Tax is set to boost growth in our sales since there will be the need to reduce building energy consumption to meet the legislation, as well as to combat the rapidly increasing price of electricity. Simx has a competitive advantage in Australia since Vent-Axia has already led the way in Europe complying with similar carbon reducing legislation. We are therefore in a very good position to utilise Vent-Axia’s low carbon experience and expertise,” adds Mark.
In addition, Mark believes that as Simx rolls out further Vent-Axia products and applications, including heat recovery technology, there will be a great opportunity for future market growth in Australia.
