Derek joins Vent-Axia from the position of Director of Sales at Hilti, the global provider of leading-edge power tools, fixing systems, containment, fire protection and other services to the construction industry. With 17 years at Hilti, many spent as a key member of the company’s UK Leadership Team, Derek will bring a wealth of experience and professionalism to his new role at Vent-Axia.

“This is another significant appointment for Vent-Axia” says the company’s Managing Director, Ronnie George. “Derek will be responsible for the performance of our sales team right across residential, commercial and industrial sectors. His leadership, sales expertise and vision are hugely important qualities which will help us continue to grow sales and provide the level of support and service our distribution partners and customers demand.”

“I am delighted to join Vent-Axia at this exciting time in the company’s development” adds Derek. “Through its Lo-Carbon™ initiative, Vent-Axia has led the ventilation industry in the drive towards greater energy efficiency which is clearly a priority now not simply for the building services sector but for the whole country. My job is to make sure we continue to deliver on these innovative solutions. Working closely with our distributors, specifiers and customers, we will help them take advantage of the increasing demand for Lo-Carbon™ products and systems, especially heat recovery, renewables and other Vent-Axia technologies. I am looking forward to the challenge.”

Headquartered in Crawley, West Sussex and with more than 70 years as an influential industry leader, Vent-Axia continues to set the standard in controlling the flow of fresh air, its temperature, humidity and cleanliness. Each year the company supplies air management solutions for over half a million installations across the residential, commercial and industrial sectors in the UK and around the world.

Today, with an integrated distribution network and the largest customer support staff within the HEVAC industry, Vent-Axia leads the way in improving the indoor environment.
